About the event

Three to Three Tuna Trip

This trip is a limited ticket, reserve your spot, 12 hour Tuna fishing trip designed to maximize the fishing experience by providing a longer excursion with maximum rail space.

Trip Specifics:

  • The trip is limited to 18 anglers with reserved spots as designated by the playing cards.
  • If all spots are taken you may select to be added to the waitlist in the event a last  minute cancellation occurs. We will offer up any last minute tickets first come first served on the waitlist beginning with the number 1 spot.
  • The Aces, Kings, Queens, & Jacks of Hearts & Spades are blacked out and designated for the Tuna rods.
  • Cards will be drawn upon check in for time on the reel when hooked up!
  • Guests can choose to bottom fish / bait fish while anchored up and waiting for the strike.
  • Any fish under 90" will be cut and distributed evenly amongst the guests.
  • Fish above 90" will be sold at fair market value and the proceeds are directed back to the vessel.
  • Check in time is 02:30 am
  • Vessel departs promptly at 0300 am and returns at 3:00 pm.
  • Those requiring rental rods can collect them from the crew upon boarding or shortly thereafter. Rod rental is 10$ per trip and the first sinker is free to replace. Any sinkers lost thereafter is 3$ to replace due to the high cost of lead. You can pay cash or  credit/debit. Our rental rod/reel setup: 6'6"Ugly Stick, Big Water with the Penn, Warfare reel (very fast 5.1:1 gear ratio).
  • Anglers are welcome to bring food and drinks (non-alcoholic) though we do have a newly renovated galley complete with coffee, snacks, beer and soda. On certain cold spring and fall days, we like to crockpot up something special. Who knows, if someone wants to donate the first fish we can turn a sweet chowder.
  • We sail from the Hampton State Pier next to Hampton Harbor Tackle Shop.

PRO TIP: enter the Hampton Harbor Tackle shop into your GPS for best directions to the pier.

  • The state collects a parking fee of 5$ per vehicle to park at the pier, the good news is there is generally more than enough parking available.

Call 603-918-8626 to inquire, or reserve a spot with a credit card and you can pay with cash when you get to the boat. But I don't have anybody to answer the phone, so the best way to book is through the website, and this trips tend to fill up quick, so waiting for me to call you back may cost you that favorite spot, or that last spot.
